The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has appointed Susan E. Bindler as Clerk of Court, effective March 10, 2025.  Ms. Bindler fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Michael E. Gans.

Ms. Bindler most recently was a partner at Haar & Woods, LLP, in St. Louis, where she practiced law for twenty-seven years.  A native of St. Louis, she graduated Order of the Coif from Washington University School of Law and received an undergraduate degree from Duke University.

The Office of the Clerk maintains its principal office at the Thomas F. Eagleton United States Courthouse in St. Louis, and Ms. Bindler will be stationed there.  The Clerk also operates a satellite office in St. Paul at the Warren E. Burger Federal Building and Courthouse.
